General enquiries
What is IAAF?
The Impact Assessment Accreditation Forum (IAAF) is a Section 8 not-for-profit that administers the Impact Report Accreditation Standard — a nine-principle framework for evaluating the credibility of impact assessment reports. We offer a progressive accreditation pathway from free AI benchmarking to full independent accreditation.
What are the four accreditation levels?
Level 1 — Benchmarking (free): instant AI principle-by-principle scores. Level 2 — Detailed Review: AI-generated feedback reviewed by IAAF. Level 3 — Methodology Accreditation: expert review of Principles 3 & 4. Level 4 — Full Accreditation: committee review of all nine principles with public comment. See the Accreditation pathway for full details.
How much does accreditation cost?
Level 1 benchmarking is free. Level 2 is ₹7,000 per report. Level 3 is ₹20,000. Level 4 is ₹40,000. Pricing and deliverables are listed on the Accreditation page.
Does accreditation endorse my project or outcomes?
No. IAAF accreditation confirms the credibility and integrity of the assessment process for a specific report and time period. It does not validate the magnitude of reported outcomes, guarantee causal attribution, or endorse the project itself. See what accreditation means.

What file format can I submit?
We accept PDF files only, up to 50 MB. Upload your complete impact assessment report through the form on the Accreditation page.
What happens after I upload my report?
Level 1 runs automatically — you receive your benchmark grid within a few minutes (keep the page open or check your email). Levels 2–4 are stored for IAAF review; our team will contact you at the email you provided to confirm next steps.
Why is my email required?
For Level 1 and Level 2, we need your email to deliver results. For Levels 3 and 4, it allows our team to coordinate the accreditation process with you. We do not sell or share your contact details. See our Privacy & Security policy.
Can I use Level 1 results externally?
Level 1 and Level 2 outputs are for internal organisational use only. They must not be presented as formal IAAF accreditation or used in external communications. Only Level 3 and Level 4 outcomes may be publicly disclosed, as stated for each level.
How long does each level take?
Level 1: 2–5 minutes (automated). Level 2: within one week (IAAF-reviewed). Level 3: 1–2 weeks. Level 4: approximately 45 days including public comment, committee review, and revision periods.
My assessment failed or timed out — what should I do?
If the page times out, your submission may still be processing — we will email you when ready. If you received an error, try uploading again or contact us with your reference number (shown after upload) via the form above.
